Quick and Easy Milk Pudding
In a medium saucepan, combine the whole milk, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle boil. This should take about 10-15 minutes.
Once the pudding has thickened, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour the pudding into individual serving dishes or ramekins.
Allow the pudding to cool slightly at room temperature, then cover each dish with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming on the surface.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until completely chilled and set.
Before serving, you can garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg, or fresh fruit, if desired.
Enjoy this luscious and creamy Milk Pudding as a delightful dessert or a sweet treat any time of the day!
